1. General Guidelines
General Assembly-Appropriate Attire
All outfits must comply with the associations’ general dress code policy (e.g., no political party regalia, offensive graphics, no midriff-baring tops, etc.).
2. Examples of Acceptable Attire
Smart Casual:
Clean jeans, khakis, or skirts.
Polo shirts, blouses, cardigans.
Sneakers or flats.
Business Casual (for formal occasions):
Button-down shirts or blouses.
Slacks, dress pants, or knee-length skirts.
Optional: ties, blazers, or dresses.
3. Avoid Wearing:
Clothing with inappropriate language or graphics.
Strapless tops, crop tops, or very short skirts/shorts.
Flip-flops or bedroom slippers.
4. Enforcement
Dress code violations should be addressed privately and respectfully.
Repeated disregard may result in a reminder from leadership ( EXCO).
