MINUTE OF THE GBHS CLASS OF 92 GENERAL ASSEMBLY

1. Opening Prayer
The meeting began at 6:15 PM with an opening prayer led by Madam Ethel.
2. Agenda Presentation
The agenda of the day was presented by the coordinator, Mr. Neba Gilbert, and was moved for correction by Bridget and Christian.
3. Welcome Address
The coordinator welcomed all members and handed the floor to the president, Mr. Arrey Emile, who also welcomed everyone and emphasized the importance of peace and humility among members.
He stressed the importance of punctuality, especially considering the involvement of diaspora members who are known to keep to time.
4. Reading of Previous Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Nzung Bridget and corrected by Donatus and Bridget.
5. Matters Arising
Bank Account and Shares:
Donatus raised concerns regarding the group’s bank account and member shares.
The president explained the following:
The group has been legalized at the Littoral regional level.
A committee is working on national legalization.
Upon completion, a UBA bank account will be opened and shared with all members.
Meanwhile, shares should be paid to the treasurer’s MOMO number (Nzung Bridget).
A committee is also working on creating a website, although challenges remain.
6. Other Matters
Project Evaluation:
Donatus proposed that all projects be evaluated and validated early so that they can be implemented as soon as funds are available.
Poor Attendance:
The president noted poor attendance and encouraged members to indicate their presence in the forum during general assemblies to aid logistics and hosting arrangements.
Permanent Meeting Venue:
The meeting was hosted at Mr. Roland Ndifor'd Resto- bar, he was happy to see members of the GBHS Bonnaberi class of 92 again and offered his structure as a potential permanent meeting venue, pending approval by the general assembly.
Welcome of Chief Mokube:
Chief Mokube was officially welcomed into the group. He announced that he will be enthroned in October as Chief of Ekondo Baloe.
Security Alert:
It was announced that Tanyitang George’s whatsapp account was hacked, and members were urged to exercise caution.
7. Praise Session
A session of praise songs was led by Ethel.
8. Diaspora Address
The floor was given to diaspora members Kumasi, Nicole, and Andre, who addressed the general assembly online.
9. Slogan Recital
Nzung Bridget led the group in reciting the slogan:
Class 92 Unity!
Class 92 Solidarity!
Class 92 Unity, Solidarity, and Networking!
10. Refreshment
Members enjoyed heavy refreshments after the slogan recital.
11. Closing Remarks
In closing, the president thanked Mr. Neba Gilbert for coordinating the list of latecomers.
The host of the Group Two (2) meeting thanked the General Assembly for attending and promised a refreshingly packed schedule.
Mr. Roland Ndifor also expressed his gratitude to the General Assembly for choosing his Resto-Bar as the venue for the day.
A total of 2,000 FCFA was collected as late-coming fines (500 FCFA per person).
