Minutes of the General Assembly Meeting May 2026

Opening

The meeting commenced at 5:00 PM with an opening prayer led by the Secretary General (SG), Mr. Anuzeshieh Ernest.

The General Coordinator (GC), Mr. Neba Gilbert, welcomed all members present before inviting the President, Mr. Emile Arrey, to deliver the welcome address. The President warmly welcomed both members present at the venue and those who joined virtually.

Reading and Adoption of the Previous Minutes

The minutes of the previous General Assembly were read. The following amendments were made:

1. It was clarified that the Association was to open a Savings Account, not a Current Account, at UBA Bank, Bonaberi, Douala.

2. It was confirmed that the Association has now been officially registered and legalized at the national level.

Subject to these amendments, the minutes were adopted.

Matters Arising

A member requested an update on the progress of opening the Association's Savings Account at UBA Bank.

The GC, Mr. Neba Gilbert, informed the Assembly that the process has already been initiated and assured members that the account would be fully operational by the next General Assembly.

Other Matters

The President expressed his appreciation to the Think-Tank Committee for its continued collaboration and support to the Executive Committee (Exco). He noted that the committee remains open to fresh ideas and welcomes members who are interested in joining.

He further informed members that the Association's website is available for members wishing to advertise their businesses, projects, or other professional activities.

Financial Report

On behalf of the Financial Desk, whose members were on authorized absence, the GC presented the Association's financial report. He assured members that the official bank statement would be presented at the next General Assembly.

Closing Remarks

In his closing remarks, the President thanked all members for their participation and encouraged members attending physically to be punctual for future meetings.

The meeting concluded with refreshments and officially ended at 8:30 PM.
